Rory is the Director of the Centre for Rural Health, University of Otago and a rural doctor at Thames Hospital. He is an Associate Professor and Director of the Rural Postgraduate Programme, and his research includes exploring rural health inequities especially in cardiovascular health. Rory is the Editor of the Leaning on Fence Posts blog.
