Karly Smith RN & Lecturer at the Rural Health Academic Centre Ashburton (RHACA) was recently profiled in the Ashburton Courier to discuss her new role developing a rural nursing education pathway.
2025-09-30Much like the rural hospital doctors’ pathway, Karly envisions shorter courses that enable nurses to take a wide range of courses to reflect the breadth of skills required by rural nurses and ensure relevance to both hospital and primary care nurses.
