Registrations close soon for the Rural CME Workshop in Rarotonga in August – don’t miss out!

5-7th August, Rarotonga Registrations close 26th June

2026-06-10

Aimed at generalist doctors who work in rural hospitals and/or rural general practice, this workshop provides evidence-based, clinical updates that consider the rural context. We engage speakers who either work rurally or have a strong understanding of the challenges of working remotely, with limited resources. It is also a really great opportunity to connect with colleagues from across Aotearoa and the Pacific – growing and strengthening our rural health community.

This year it’s being held from the 5-7th August at the beautiful Crown Beach Resort in Rarotonga.

Topics in 2026 include mental health, toxicology, neonates, cultural safety and more. We will have the usual knowledge in the room and a dinner for all.  For more details, see the programme here: https://www.otago.ac.nz/__data/assets/pdf_file/0028/642664/Rural-CME-Workshop-programme-2026.pdf
